Nubian Dreams Salute to Michael Jackson
Tonight the world loss one of the best marketers of all time. There was no other Michael Jackson. He was bigger than any other pop entertainer. He pushed the world to open up to Black people like no other. He brought us “We Are the World” and told the world about the plight of Africa. Everyone has faults but hopefully he will be remembered for the good he has done. R.I.P. Michael “Media Matters.”
I remember him on the Ed Sullivan Show when there were very few black entertainers on TV and seeing them at the first Jackson 5 show in Philadelphia. Watching Michael on the Motown 25 show that night was a highlight. Thanks for the memories.

Last Night - The Voices of Pride
The “Meet the Press” event was held last night in Greenwich Village at the Brecht Forum. Nathan Seven Scott, Cornelius Jones, Jr. Dwight Allen O’Neal, Nando Rodriquez and of course Nubian Dreamer Richard Pelzer II put on an amazing event. The topic was “Meet the Press” The Modern Media Personalities. The three hour event was chocked full of so much good information that illustrated the diversity and the opportunity to disseminate our information our way. The panelist’s were outstanding and the audience as well. Kudo’s to you all. Look for pictures and videos at http://www.thefutureforward.net. We want to thank the producers for allowing us to show our Nubian Dreams Cruise video at the top of the night followed by a very funny opening by Nubian Dreams Host and comedienne Ms. Tammy Peay. Tammy will be performing next at the White Party Moonlight Cruise.

The Wiz Returns
Nubian Dreamer Kevin Anthony joins Ashanti, LaChanze, Orlando Jones, Tichina Arnold and Dawnn Lewis in the remake of The Wiz at the City Center in NYC for a limited run. The work is timeless. Unfortunately, ticket sales are slow but picking up. Get your tickets early. A great place to take the kids. Discount tickets available at Theatermania for select performances.
